Tonight, Karolina, Malyse and I went out into the country to watch the Geminid meteor shower. On the way home, I was inspired to read this very old piece (2009) that felt like it fit the occasion.
The Last Dying Breath of a Firefly
I enjoyed this immensely. I even saw a few falling stars myself while smoking a cigarette outside. And this is well read. Whenever I do this sort of thing, I’m drinking straight from a bottle of whiskey and slurring words with my Philly accent in full bloom.

OMG this is my FAVORITE piece of yours! I still read this most often as my “other people’s poetry” piece! ^_^
