500 Days Of ART: Discussing Writing Link post
Staff Note: This got to me.

He never understood the writer part of me but damn, did he try. We sat nights after nights discussing writing even though he wasn’t a big fan of it at all. We discussed writing in sense and related to different topics. Fiction, non fiction, scientific, political, emotional, action, sexism and so much more.
We argued, fought and didn’t talk for hours but at night, before we go to bed, he would’d whisper me poetry or tell me a story but still said that he wasn’t the writer material, that he did it just because he loved me.
I never realized it until he was gone just how much those little arguments have made me the writer I am today. How they build up ideas and thoughts and made me not only a better writer but a better person.
So I called him up and thanked him for being such a big part of me, to which he asked, “So, you figured it out then?” with a hint of a smile in his voice.
That’s when it all came rushing back, all the time he sat online for researches, all the questions, all the arguments, all the silly comments, it was like the puzzles were coming all together in my mind.
“It was all planned, wasn’t it? You did it all purposely.” I whispered into the phone.
“I learned so much from you and you learned so much from me. Isn’t that how its suppose to be? Write, my love, write. You know I’ll always love you.”
